About parameter variables

 

Parameter variables are used to enrich, decorate, and align PAD figures.

The parameter variables are to be written either as PADEL comments

/* pad2ps: centering = on */

or as -P  option

% pad2ps foo.pad -P centering=on > foo.ps

You can set these parameter variables anywhere, except the following four parameters: message, comment, newpage,and vsp.

There are some parameters that take no effect when printing in LaTeX format.

• Set overall title
• Write messages
• Write comment
• Write LaTeXcommand in PADEL
• Centerize and Align to left
• Change the placing of PAD figure
• Print the page number
• Print the figure number
• Change the location of the figure title
• Change the output format of each PAD's title
• Add a frame to a page
• Add a frame to each PAD figure
• Enlarge or shrink all
• Create huge PAD figure without folding
• Set the width of folding PAD figure
• Insert a page break
• Adjust the vertical interval between PADs
• Change the page size
• Change the font size
  • Change the normal font size
  • Change the special font size
• Change the size of spaces
• Change the line thickness
