* 2021 Dec. 18 (3 comets)

I observed 3 comets visually on Dec. 18 in Mt. Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

It was full moon.

C/2019 L3 ( ATLAS )

9.5 mag   Dia. 2.2'   DC 6-7   (40.0-cm reflector 75x)

Well condensed and easy to see.

4P/Faye

11.5 mag   Dia. 0.5'   DC 6   (40.0-cm reflector 257x)

Looks tiny because it located close to a star.

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko

8.9 mag   Dia. 3.3'   DC 4   (40.0-cm reflector 36x)

Large and easy to see.

* 2021 Sept. 19 (6 comets)

I observed 6 comets visually on Sept. 19 in Mt. Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

It was full moon, but the weather was fine just after a typhoon passed. But the sky was covered with thin clouds in the evening.

C/2019 L3 ( ATLAS )

11.0 mag   Dia. 1.6'   DC 7   (40.0-cm reflector 75x)

Very strongly condensed. Bright and easy to see.

C/2020 T2 ( Palomar )

10.4 mag   Dia. 1.4'   DC 3-4   (40.0-cm reflector 144x)

Hard to see due to the low sky condition.

On July 22, it was almost cloudy, but there is a gap of clouds only around the comet position.

P/2021 Q5 ( ATLAS )

13.5 mag   Dia. 1.2'   DC 1   (40.0-cm reflector 144x)

Diffuse.

4P/Faye

11.8 mag   Dia. 1.8'   DC 4-5   (40.0-cm reflector 75x)

Bright, but weakly condensed unexpectedly.

15P/Finlay

13.3 mag   Dia. 0.9'   DC 2   (40.0-cm reflector 144x)

Diffuse.

67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko

11.3 mag   Dia. 1.1'   DC 7-8   (40.0-cm reflector 75x)

Very strongly and sharply condensed. Easy to see.

* 2021 July 22 (1 comet)

I also observed C/2020 T2 visually on July 22 in Toride City, Ibaraki, Japan.

C/2020 T2 ( Palomar )

10.2 mag   Dia. 1.4'   DC 3-4   (40.0-cm reflector 144x)

It was almost cloudy, but there is a gap of clouds only around the comet position.
