    MisV0814 -- call for observations    

MisV0814, one of the new variable stars discovered in the course of the MISAO Project, is probably a peculiar variable. Please observe the star.

MisV0814 locates in Auriga. It is mainly constant at 13.8 mag, rarely changes the brightness. However, it sometimes brightens to 13.5 mag, or fades to around 14.5 mag. When it becomes faint, it shows minute-scale rapid variation.

In order to reveal the character of this star, we have to observe it in details when it is faint. So, please monitor it to catch the variation of MisV0814.

If you find that MisV0814 is brighter than the 13.51 mag star, or fainter than 13.85 mag star in the neighborhood, please contact us immediately. Time series photometry are also welcome.

Yasuo Sano operated time series photometry on 9 nights between Sept. 23 and Oct. 29. MisV0814 was almost constant at 14.5 mag on those days. No minute scale variation was detected.

MisV0814 is now faintest in its history. It is uncertain when it recovers to the bright state. Further observations are encouraged.
