Indexing

It is impossible to accumulate whole images at a site because of their large size. That leads to constructing a distributed database system and the central host should have only the indexes of the images needed for search. Determining a proper index enables to do pattern matching or searching images only with those indexes, without accessing to the original images.

Besides, the original images do not have to be reserved as they are. It is necessary to study an image format to reduce the image's information. The main task on it is how to treat:

• Known moving objects
• Personal difference such as exposure, films, lenses, etc.
