MISAO project

My MISAO project

Multitudinous Image-based Sky-survey by Accumulative Observations
aims to make the most of information buried in the images taken all over the world. It is one of the projects mentioned in previous section, trying to complete a practical reduction software.

The software in my project is called PIXY system

Practical Image eXamination and Inner-objects Identification system
(it is PIXII literally, but should be spelled as PIXY). It is implemented mainly in Java, so the system can be an applet and used via WWW browsers, or it can easily refer to various information opened in WWW network.

In addition, there is another goal in this project, that is, arrangement of environment for common ownership of data. If all data obtained from all images are open in the public, and we all can analyze and study the data, it can be considered as a big survey project as world wide collaboration. To realize this dream, network is very important.
