Discovery Information
It was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new variable stars from images taken by Ken-ichi Kadota, Ageo City, Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida.
V1723 Sgr is 1.4 arcmin from MisV0794. V1723 Sgr was detected as a 17 mag star. Although the variability of V1723 Sgr was not confirmed, MisV0794 is probably another new variable star.
