Digitized Sky Survey GIF image (15 x 15 arcmin) Discovery InformationIt was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new variable stars from images taken by Ken-ichi Kadota, Ageo City, Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida. NSV 09920 is 0.8 arcmin from MisV0793. No star brighter than 14.3 mag was detected at the cataloged position of NSV 09920. But considering the brightness of NSV 09920 in the catalog, 9.36 mag, USNO-A2.0 0525.31080486, R.A. 17h58m53s.277, Decl. -30o10'18".81, 9.5 mag(R), detected as 9.4 mag star, should be NSV 09920. Therefore, MisV0793 is probably another new variable star.
