ASAS-3 Light Curve

* Discovery Information

Seiichi Yoshida, Yokohama City, Kanagawa, Japan; discovered a new object from survey images taken by Youichirou Nakashima, Setouchi City, Okayama, Japan; in the course of the MISAO Project. It was bright at 13.4 mag on May 27, but nothing found in our past images.

We found a 17-mag star, USNO-A2.0 1425.10173307, in the USNO-A2.0 catalog at this position. So it seems to be an outburst of this 17-mag star.

We the MISAO Project assign the new variable star number "MisV1448" to this star.

Denis Denisenko reported the pre-discovery data by the MASTER robotic telescopes, and confirmed the outburst of this star. It has brightened up to 12 mag on May 13.

* Special Notes

New bright dwarf nova discovered at 13.4 mag from 2012 May 27 images. Seiichi Yoshida discovered this object on June 8, about 2 weeks have already passed. However, Denis Denisenko found the pre-discovery data by the MASTER robotic telescopes at 12 mag on May 13, and confirmed the outburst of this star.
