It was picked up by Seiichi Yoshida from the candidates of new variable stars detected by the PIXY system 2 from images taken by Martin Nicholson, and confirmed by Ken-ichi Kadota. Martin Nicholson took 33 images of the region around the variable star RS Boo on 2005 May 10, 11, 12 and 16 with a Takahashi Sky 90 and an ST10XE CCD camera that are mounted on a Paramount GT1100s mount. The scope is called AREO3, and is housed at an Observatory near Mahill, New Mexico. The observatory is at 7300 ft. (2225 meters) elevation under spectacularly clear and dark skies. Ken-ichi Kadota created the composite images and confirmed the variation. It seems to be a short periodic variable. Special NotesTaichi Kato analyzed the Catalina Sky Survey data and revealed it is an RR Lyr-type (RRAB type) variable with a period of 0.5772 days. Light CurveObservations by MISAO Project
