* Profile

It was observed for only one month between September 24 and October 26 in 1960. It has not been observed since that.

Because of the large perihelion distance of 4 A.U., it returns almost in the same condition every time. It is always faint.

The previous return was in 1994, when LINEAR or NEAT have not surveyed yet.

In 2011, it will return in the era of automated survey for the first time. So it may be recovered.

The perihelion dates in the past appearances are printed on Catalog of Cometary Orbits 1996.
The perihelion dates since 1977 are calculated by Kazuo Kinoshita (http://www9.ocn.ne.jp/~comet/pcmt/j60s1.htm).
